The Oakwood is now in its 5th season of being the home of Charlton Athletic Women. An atmospheric venue located in Crayford, DA1 4DN. We have plenty of standing available right around the ground, as well as some seating.

How to get to The Oakwood

Train 

The nearest train station to The Oakwood is Crayford which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the ground and is served by trains from London Charing Cross if travelling from London and Gravesend if travelling from Kent. 

 

Bus 

Alternatively, supporters can get on the 492 bus from Crayford Station which stops just moments away from The Oakwood. 

The nearest bus stop to The Oakwood is just a couple of minutes walk from the ground, the Old Road / Perry Street stop which serves the 492 bus. 

The 492 bus starts at Bluewater Shopping Centre, stopping at Old Road on its way towards Sidcup, and runs the same route from Sidcup Station towards Bluewater Shopping centre, with buses travelling in both directions stopping just minutes away from The Oakwood. 

The 96 bus also stops close to The Oakwood. The nearest is Stop S on London Road. 

There is free parking available on nearby roads for fans travelling via car, including Old Road, just outside the ground. 

 

Car 

Supporters can also drive to The Oakwood. But please note, there is no parking at The Oakwood venue. However, there is parking on surrounding roads. 

Timings

All Barclays Women’s Championship fixtures kick-off at 14:00 (2 PM) unless stated otherwise. 

Gates open approximately one hour before kick-off.  

 

Food and Drink

There are plenty of food and drink options on offer at The Oakwood. There is a bar located just outside the ground which fans can access with their matchday ticket, please note this is not run by Charlton Atheltic.  
  
Inside the bar, fans can buy snacks, alcoholic, and soft drink beverages. Please note that fans cannot bring alcohol into the ground.  
  
There is also a hot food kiosk located inside the ground where fans can purchase a whole range of hot food including burgers, bacon rolls and soft drinks, please note that this is not run by Charlton Athletic.

Every home matchday we produce a free online matchday programme which is available to view on our website and social channels 24 hrs before kick-off.

Team sheets will be available on the club's social channels 1 hour before kick-off. 
  
We provide social content right the way through our matchdays including, press conferences, arrival photos, warm-ups, live tweets as well as reactions, and words from our Head Coach Karen Hills as well as players. 
  
Matchday highlights are also available from our YouTube account one day after match day.

Fans are able to purchase tickets on the gate please note it is card only and tickets purchased on the day are subject to a £2 increase.
