Player Biography

Sian Rogers joined the Addicks in July 2022 on a season-long loan from Barclays Women's Super League side Aston Villa, before making the permanent switch in the summer of 2023.

Starting out at the academy at Wolverhampton Wanders, the goalkeeper also enjoyed spells at Birmingham City and Arsenal before beginning her senior career at Villa in 2017.

Rogers is a former England youth international who first became involved with the England set up at the age of 13. She has since represented the national team at multiple levels, captaining the U16 side against Switzerland in 2014.

She helped Villa to the Barclays Women’s Championship title in the 2019/20 season and picked up the Golden Glove award after keeping 5 clean sheets in 13 matches.

An ever-present force in Karen Hills’ side, Rogers made 24 appearances across the Women’s Championship and FA Cup last season.
