Deji Elerewe joined the Addicks aged 13, representing Charlton throughout the age groups before signing his first professional contract with the club in November 2021.

The academy graduate was handed his senior Addicks bow in August 2021. Elerewe would go on to earn a further 10 appearances across all competitions during the 2021/22 campaign, though the towering centre-back saw his breakout campaign curtailed by a knee injury.

Having excelled both on and off the pitch, Elerewe was crowned the LFE League One Apprentice of the Year at the 2022 EFL awards.

In July 2022, the defender joined National League side Wealdstone on loan until January 2nd, 2023. He was recalled by the Addicks in November 2022.

Elerewe completed a loan move to National League outfit for the remainder of the 2022/23 campaign in March 2023.
