George Dobson signed for Charlton in June 2021 after leaving Sunderland.
Dobson enjoyed nine years in Arsenal's youth ranks before joining West Ham United as a 17-year-old.
The midfielder spent the 2016/17 campaign on loan at Walsall, who he joined permanently in 2018 after a short stint with Sparta Rotterdam in the Dutch top flight.
On his return, Dobson made 65 appearances for the Saddlers while captaining the side, subsequently securing a move to Sunderland in the summer of 2019.
The combative midfielder clocked up 46 appearances for the Black Cats before swapping Wearside for Wimbledon for the second half of the 2020/21 season.
Dobson excelled with a number of impressive performances in the middle of the park in his debut season at The Valley, culminating in the midfielder being voted by Charlton supporters as their 2021/22 Player of the Year with a mammoth 77% of fans' votes.
He was named captain by Manager Dean Holden in December 2022.
