Join us for a range of free activities for Young Greenwich Day

Young Greenwich Day

On Saturday, April 6th ahead of Charlton Athletic men’s first-team facing Barnsley, there will be a variety of free activities at The Valley to get involved in as part of Young Greenwich Day.

The fixture celebrates Young Greenwich which is the youth service Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) delivers on behalf of Royal Borough of Greenwich (RBG) in partnership with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust and METRO Charity.

From 1pm onwards, there will be live music and a DJ in Valley Central with arts and crafts, cake decoration, sport activities, face painting and lots more!

You will also be in with a chance of winning some exciting prizes by entering our prize draw on the day!

Young Greenwich provides various activities and support for young individuals aged 8-19, extending up to 25 for those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This involves sessions held at our four main youth hubs (Valley Central in Charlton, Avery Hill, Hawksmoor and Woolwich Common) and tailored sessions delivered by our partners across RBG to extend our reach.

If you would like to find out more about the youth service, what it offers and how you can get involved, come by and visit us in Valley Central youth hub between 1-3pm! Or take a look at our website to discover more!
