EFL broadcast rules state that ALL league matches can be live streamed in any country outside of the UK & Ireland. The EFL class the UK as: England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Jersey.

Due to new EFL broadcasting rules, EFL clubs will no longer be able to stream any matches on iFollow or club equivalent services, CharltonTV in our case, in the UK & Ireland.

Unfortunately, due to the new EFL broadcasting rules, the club will no longer be able to live stream any men’s first-team league and cup fixtures in the UK.

Overseas supporters can watch live ALL of the club’s EFL League One games live on CharltonTV.

Fans are reminded that being ‘overseas’ is classed as being outside of England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Jersey or Ireland by the EFL.

There will be a new format for CharltonTV starting in the 2024/25 season. Charlton will no longer broadcast match buildup and reaction in the studio, but Steve Brown will now join Terry Smith and Greg Stubley on commentary. 

Four-camera productions will be in place for all fixtures, home and away, in the 2024/25 season - an improvement on the three-camera and two-camera productions for home and away games respectively during the 2023/24 season.

A CharltonTV LIVE subscription includes absolutely everything that CharltonTV has to offer, including the live streaming of competitive first-team matches and much, much more. This subscription is only available to purchase outside of the UK & Ireland due to EFL broadcast rules.

A CharltonTV subscription does NOT include the live streaming of competitive first-team matches but does include everything else that CharltonTV has to offer, such as the live streaming of home U21s matches and unlimited access to all on-demand video.

Unfortunately, due to the new domestic rights deal in place between the EFL and Sky Sports, supporters in the UK will no longer be able to stream any matches live on CharltonTV.

This is against EFL broadcast regulations. The club are not permitted to offer live streaming to UK-based fans. 

Valley Pass was rebranded as CharltonTV towards the end of the 2020/21 season. Valley Pass is now called CharltonTV. If you previously purchased a Valley Pass subscription then it will have been carried over to a CharltonTV subscription.

Yes, if you subscribed to CharltonTV after June 2021 then your subscription will have been setup to automatically renew.

Yes, anyone in the world can register for CharltonTV. Registering simply means creating an account. Registering will grant you access to some content but other content, including live streaming, will require a subscription or pay-per-view match pass in order to watch.

By purchasing a match pass, you will be granted live streaming access to one selected fixture. The price of a match pass in the 2024/25 season is £10.

If you are using a desktop or laptop, you can watch on the club website via this link.

We would recommend you test your live stream ahead of the game.

Depending on the device you are using, follow the above steps and you should receive a ‘Currently not broadcasting’ message. If you do, then your live stream will play as expected, once the broadcast begins.

This is due to Apple disabling cross site tracking by default, please see below steps to resolve:

Safari for Mac:

• Open Safari if it is not already open.
• Click the "Safari" menu and choose "Preferences" and then "Privacy"
• Depending on your version of OS:
• Click prevent Cross Site Tracking to disable this setting.

Safari for Mobile or Tablet:

• Go to Settings
• Click on Safari
• Privacy & Security
• Turn the toggle 'Prevent Cross Site Tracking' to 'Off'.

Overseas supporters will be able to watch ALL league games live on CharltonTV during the 2024/25 season, even if it is selected for live coverage by Sky Sports. 

Supporters in the UK will be able to watch all games not protected by Article 48 (aka the 3pm TV blackout) live on Sky Sports via Sky Sports+ or on a Sky Sports main channel.
