Join us and donate for CACT's Christmas Spirit Day!

Charlton's match on Saturday, December 11th is the club’s annual Christmas Spirit game in aid of Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT).

CACT and the club have come together with Royal Borough of Greenwich to offer tickets for Saturday’s game to all families eligible for free school meals.

CACT’s Extra Time Hub choir will be singing Christmas carols outside The Valley’s West stand, whilst the Charlton Athletic Supporters’ Trust will be teaming up with Greenwich Foodbank to encourage supporters to help alleviate food shortages for local families.

CACT’s work across South East London and Kent has never been more apparent than during the COVID-19 lockdowns where CACT spent over £5.3 million to support our community when it needed it most.

Supported provided in 2020-2021 included:

• Making and receiving over 260,000 phone calls via the Greenwich Community Hub

• Delivering 3,255 emergency food parcels

• Making 16,570 emergency service referrals

• Providing financial assistance to 385 vulnerable households

CACT’s work was recognised this week by a London Sport Young Londoners Award for creating COVID-secure sport and activity programmes. This vital work simply wouldn’t be possible without the support of people like you, and we are therefore asking Charlton fans to show their support and help CACT to continue its vital work across South East London and Kent.
