The club can also confirm the departure of first-team coach Josh Oatham, who has been appointed as Manager of Billericay Town Women.

Head Coach Karen Hills said: “I want to offer my thanks to the players that are leaving – Angela, Freda, Heidi, Kate, Sian, Ella and Poppy. They have all contributed a lot both on and off the pitch to our continued progression.

“Ella has been at Charlton since 2020 and scored our first goal as a professional team, so holds an important place in this club’s history. Kate as Co Captain, has had a big influence on us this season and we’re really grateful to her for the impact she has had at the club.

“Angela and Freda have both been with us for two seasons and have been involved in some key moments for us.

“Sian has had two very good seasons in goal while Poppy is a talented young player with a bright future ahead of her. Heidi played her part last season and has done really well on loan at Stoke City this year.

“I’d also like to thank Freya, Mel and Gracie, who joined us on loan this season. All three played their part in helping us to our highest league position in more than 15 years, so we wish them the best for the future.

“A final word for Josh Oatham, who has been appointed as Manager of Billericay Town. Josh has been a valuable part of the coaching staff and we wish him well with his new, exciting opportunity.”

Everyone at the club would like to thank those who are leaving for their efforts during their time at Charlton and wish them the very best of luck for the future.
