The Addicks return to The Valley next Saturday for a clash with the club’s most-played opponents, Portsmouth (KO 12.30pm GMT).
Charlton have faced Pompey 116 times. Although the Addicks have lost just once in the last 11 meetings, Portsmouth hold the overall edge with 46 wins to Charlton’s 40, alongside 30 draws.
The contest is further deepened by history - Portsmouth were the visitors for Charlton’s iconic return to The Valley on December 5th, 1992.
Next weekend’s fixture comes 33 years and one day after that memorable 1-0 victory over Pompey in the first match back at The Valley.
