Another bumper crowd set for Leicester clash

'

There will be a packed out Covered End again on Saturday with another bumper crowd expected at The Valley for the Addicks' Sky Bet Championship clash with Leicester City (KO 12.30pm BST).

Nathan Jones described The Valley as 'rocking' after Harvey Knibbs’ stoppage-time goal in front of the Covered End ensured a winning start to Charlton’s 2025/26 Sky Bet Championship campaign.

The home opener was the first time since 2008 that 20,000 or more fans have attended a game at The Valley in August, with this Saturday now the second time 20,000 will have been passed in August since then.

Supporters planning on watching the game from the Covered End Lower are advised to purchase their tickets shortly, with only a limited number still available.

Fans who have already purchased a ticket are advised to arrive early on Saturday to avoid queues at the turnstiles. With a 12.30pm kick-off, the Fan Zone, Meantime Fans’ Bar and Bartram’s will all be open from 10am.

Supporters who purchased a Watford ticket and/or a Leicester ticket can upgrade to a season ticket and get their match tickets refunded. Click here to find out more.
