Summer signing Rob Apter says he cannot wait for Saturday's test against Leicester City at The Valley.
The exciting wideman endeared himself to the Addicks faithful with an impressive full debut during the opening-day victory over Watford.
"For my first start in the Championship, to come out to all those fans was great," said Apter. "I took a moment to have a little look and then as soon as the whistle went I was ready to play.
"They were singing and chanting for the whole game so it was brilliant. I can't wait for Saturday!"
"All of the lads have been brilliant with me since I've come in, I couldn't have asked for any better," he smiled.
"I can get more confidence when I'm playing now because I'm building relationships off the pitch as well.
"Before I even came I was speaking to Sonny over the phone and texting a few times," added the 22-year-old. "That really helped me having someone I knew and a familiar face.
"As soon as I spoke to the gaffer he grabbed me in, and I just wanted to play for him. Thankfully it's happened!"
