Biggest league attendance already broken ahead of Birmingham game

Promo for Charlton v Birmingham in WSL2

Ticket sales for Charlton Women's final game of the season against Birmingham City on Saturday (3pm BST) have already beaten the club's record ticket sales for a league match in 20 years.

With four days to go, 1,400 tickets have already been sold for the game between the WSL 2's top two. The total for this titanic clash has already eclipsed the previous record of 1,315 tickets for the Addicks' meeting with London City Lionesses in March 2024.

After a battling draw away to Southampton on Sunday, Karen Hills' side have regained top spot in the league, a point ahead of both Saturday's opponents, Birmingham, and south-east London neighbours, Crystal Palace.

With Birmingham coming to The Valley on Saturday, it's winner takes all.

Tickets are still available to watch the Addicks for the last time this season, with lots to keep you entertained beforehand in our Fan Zone, with special guests Baller FC in attendance.
