Bumper crowd set for Sheffield Wednesday clash

'

The attendance at The Valley is set to surpass 20,000 for the fourth time this season when Sheffield Wednesday visit on Saturday, October 18th (KO 3pm BST).

The Valley has been rocking this season, with fixtures against Watford, Leicester City and Millwall all attracting crowds of over 20,000. The Addicks also ended last season with three consecutive attendances above 20,000, while Charlton’s 3-0 win over Blackburn Rovers last month drew a crowd of 19,004.

That feel-good factor around the club continues to grow, reflected in record merchandise sales, increased matchday programme sales, and rising streaming numbers.

Next Saturday’s fixture also marks the club’s annual Red, White and Black Day - an anti-racism initiative that has been part of the Charlton Athletic fabric for more than 30 years, promoting a clear message that everyone is welcome at Charlton.
