Sonny Carey has been shortlisted for October Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award.
The in-form 24-year-old, who has already scooped the club's Player of the Month and Goal of the Month accolades, starred for the Addicks throughout an outstanding October that saw Nathan Jones' side climb into the Sky Bet Championship's top six.
The midfielder contributed the opening goal in back-to-back wins over Sheffield Wednesday and Ipswich Town and once again impressed with his powerful running from midfield and pressing energy.
Carey is competing with Femi Azeez (Millwall), Brandon Thomas-Asante (Coventry City) and Jacob Widell Zetterstrom (Derby County) for the award, with the winner set to be announced on Friday, November 14th.
The judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, EFL Chief Executive Trevor Birch and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
