Charles Clayden joins Bromley on loan

Charles Clayden has joined Bromley on loan until January 6th.

The versatile wideman has made 10 first team appearances for the Addicks so far this season, seven of which have come in League One.

As part of the deal, the club have an option to recall Clayden after the first 28 days of the loan spell.

Manager Ben Garner said: "It's a great loan for him. It's perfect in terms of geography and location and it puts him close to us here.

"It's an opportunity for him to play week in, week out and develop, which is what he needs. He's had a good start to the season in terms of the appearances he's had for us. He needs to bridge that gap between where he is and being able to play consistently in League One.

"Playing in the National League for a good club like Bromley, who are doing really well, will hopefully push him on and allow him to go to another level in terms of his performances."

Everyone at the club would like to wish Charles the best of luck during his time at Hayes Lane.
