Charlton to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II

The club will pay tribute to Her late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II ahead of Tuesday’s game against Forest Green Rovers at The Valley.

Everyone connected to the club was saddened to hear of the passing of Queen Elizabeth last week at the age of 96.

Ahead of Tuesday’s game, a period of silence will be observed in her memory, followed by the national anthem.

Players, coaching staff and match officials will wear black armbands to pay their respect for her service to this country and flags will be flown at half-mast.

Supporters wishing to be part of the tributes are advised to be in their seats at The Valley by 7.40pm.
