Coronavirus update, 5 November 2020

Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) has temporarily suspended a number of its programmes, in line with the latest lockdown.

CACT would like to thank everyone who has supported us. Our work supporting the most vulnerable in the community is as important as ever at the moment, and we’re looking forward to starting our programmes again as soon as restrictions are eased.

Following the Government announcement that we will enter a new lockdown period from 5 November 2020, Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) has temporarily suspended a number of its programmes.

The situation will be reviewed regularly, with the aim of programmes returning once the restrictions are lifted.

The following programmes will continue to run:

- Premier League Primary Stars

- Post-16 Football & Education Academy

- Traineeship programme

- Mentoring

- Short Breaks (Greenwich)

- Extra Time Hub

- Greenwich Community Hub

- Young Greenwich (The youth service is working with support bubbles of more vulnerable young people, and is invite only.)

- Early Intervention in Psychosis (in partnership with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust & Porchlight)

All other programmes not mentioned on this list have been temporarily postponed.

CACT would like to thank everyone who has supported us so far this year. Our work supporting the most vulnerable in the community is as important as ever at the moment, and we’re looking forward to starting our programmes again as soon as restrictions are eased.
