Five men's first-team players represented their respective countries during the recent international break.

Conor Coventry earned his senior debut for the Republic of Ireland, coming on as a 68th-minute substitute in their remarkable 2-0 victory over Portugal at the Aviva Stadium. The midfielder was then an unused substitute as Heimir Hallgrímsson's side claimed a dramatic 3-2 win against Hungary to secure a World-Cup play-off place.

Academy graduate Micah Mbick made his debut for England U20s on Friday night, featuring for 30 minutes and providing the assist in a 1-1 with Japan at Doncaster Rovers' Eco-Power Stadium.

Tyreece Campbell, Karoy Anderson and Kaheim Dixon all earned call-ups to the Jamaica squad. Campbell and Anderson both made substitute appearances in the Reggae Boyz' opening fixture - a 1–1 draw with Trinidad and Tobago - while Dixon was an unused substitute.

Jamaica then faced Curacao in a decisive match, requiring a win to secure automatic qualification to the World Cup. Kaheim Dixon was introduced on 58 minutes as the sides shared a goalless draw, with Campbell and Anderson not featuring. The result means Jamaica will now compete in March's intercontinental play-offs in their bid to make it to next summer's tournament.
