Charlton Athletic are delighted to introduce the nine academy players who have been handed two-year scholarships with the club.
Academy Manager Tom Pell commented: "On behalf of all of the staff, I would like to wish all of our new first-year scholars the very best of luck during their next two years minimum with us here in the full-time Professional Development Phase programme.
"Being full-time and having an extremely robust programme across a wide variety of disciplines can be really challenging, especially after just completing their GCSE’s.
"Our academy is a special place and in order for us to continue to keep it that way, this group will be no different to any other year group. We will put them first and create an all together mentality, as well as an environment that is really challenging and really supportive.
"Kieran Culleton and our Youth Development Phase staff have done a wonderful job in preparing the boys as best as possible for full-time football, so now we look forward to the next stage of their development under the tutelage of Jason Pearce and our Professional Development Phase team."
TAKU MUVHUTI
Taku Muvhuti is the club's longest-serving first-year scholar having been with the Addicks since the pre-academy phase before signing at U9 level. Muvhuti a strong defender, with his one-v-one defending being his key strength, and is quickly improving his physicality to deal with the demands of U18s football.
MICHAEL MYLONA
Michael Mylona joined the club's academy at U12 level, having previously been at Tottenham Hotspur. Mylona is an exciting one-v-one player, who can do things out of the ordinary to both score and create, and finished his U16s season with 35 goals and 11 assists.
KAYODE PETERKIN
Kayode Peterkin joined the club's academy set-up as an U15 after impressing in a showcase game against the Addicks. Peterkin is a quick and powerful striker who works tirelessly to press defenders and run in behind, and is a calm finisher in front of goal.
KACPER PODGORNY
Kacper Podgorny joined the Addicks' academy at U15 level amidst lots of interest from other clubs. An attacking midfielder, Podgorny is accomplished on the ball and can unlock defences, often beating his opponents in one-v-one duels.
HARRY RANDALL
Harry Randall is a strong and dominant central midfielder, who shows good versatility to also play as a centre-back. Randall has an excellent range of passing, often hurting defences with longer passes or switches of play, and regains possession well with strong defensive actions.
RAYNON RICHMAN
Raynon Richman can operate in every position across the front line and is a strong and imposing attacker. A focused and determined individual, Richman enjoys taking players on and demonstrates lots of success in his one-v-one duels.
ED THOMAS
Ed Thomas is an intelligent and calm midfielder who loves to have the ball at his feet and brings real calmness to the team, often being the player the team can rely on to maintain possession in difficult moments. Thomas, who received the 2025 Steve Clarke Trophy, shows real versatility to play in many positions, where he can create and score as an attacker as well as being a combative midfielder out of possession.
LOGAN WILLIAMS
Goalkeeper Logan Williams joined the club's academy at U11 level and has since progressed through the youth ranks. A calm and commanding presence, Williams is a fantastic shot stopper and notably saved a penalty in last season's Professional Development League Cup final.
PATRICK BOJE
After being spotted by Bert Dawkins and his team of scouts playing for non-League side Waltham Cross at the start of 2025, Patrick Boje immediately impressed on trial and was quickly signed a few months ago. An aggressive and tenacious midfielder with a terrific left foot, Boje has fitted in with the squad superbly.
