Charlton return to The Valley on Saturday for the club’s opening game of their 2025/26 Sky Bet Championship campaign against Watford.
Tickets for the hotly anticipated game have been selling quickly and the fixture will be the highest attended home opener at The Valley in at least 17 years, with the attendance to pass the 21,675 people that attended Charlton’s home opener in 2008/09.
Should Saturday’s attendance pass the 23,151 at Charlton’s first home Championship game in August 2007, it would become the highest attendance at The Valley for a home opener since the club’s Premier League days.
