Steve Gritt and Peter Shirtliff will return to The Valley on Sunday, April 26th for the 'Lennie Lawrence Dinner', hosted by the Charlton Athletic Ex-Players' Association.
The duo will both be in attendance as the club celebrates a true Charlton icon and will be joined by further fan favourites, who will be announced in due course.
Gritt and Shirtliff were both part of Lawrence's 1987 Full Members Cup final team and the iconic 1986/87 play-off-winning squad, with the latter scoring the memorable extra-time brace that saw the Addicks come from behind to claim a 2-1 win against Leeds United and preserve the club's top-flight status. Gritt was also part of Lawrence's unforgettable 1985/86 promotion-winning side.
Guests will enjoy a two-course dinner and a live Charlton-themed auction during what promises to be a truly memorable evening, which will feature a special tribute in honour of Lawrence, who successfully managed the Addicks between 1982 and 1991.
