Help bring lifelong Addick Jimmy home

'

The family and friends of lifelong Charlton fan Jimmy Mulcahy are fundraising to help bring him home after he contracted thrombosis and then subsequent kidney failure while on holiday in Thailand.

Jimmy is currently in a Thai hospital after receiving emergency life-saving treatment, however this comes at a cost of £4,000 a day.

Jimmy, who attended his first Charlton game in the 1974/75 campaign, was a season-ticket holder for several years before having to give it up due to his job as a local postman. His daughter Lauren remembers her dad taking both her and her sister to games and now he often takes his grandchildren Aiden and Kai to games at The Valley.

Jimmy flew out to Thailand in February with his wife to kick start his retirement and celebrate his upcoming 60th birthday.
