James Bree's sensational strike against Derby County has been shortlisted for the Sky Bet Championship’s September Goal of the Month award.

The defender, whose outstanding debut month as an Addick has also been recognised with Sky Bet Championship and PFA Fans' Player of the Month nominations, converted an incredible team move to open the scoring at Pride Park Stadium. Bursting into the area to meet Greg Docherty's cushioned pass, Bree controlled his strike of the bouncing ball to perfection to find the top-left corner.
Bree is competing with Oxford United's Przemysław Płacheta, Bristol City's Anis Mehmeti and Swansea City's Gonçalo Franco for the prize.
The winner will be announced at 10am on Friday, October 17th.
