Charlton Athletic are thrilled to announce that goalkeeper Jessica Gray has signed her first professional contract with the Addicks.
The stopper joined the club from National League South side Billericay Town in November 2022.
Gray made three appearances for Charlton across the 2022/23 campaign - including an appearance in the Addicks' season finale against Crystal Palace at The Valley.
The 21-year-old is delighted to sign a two year deal. She said: “I’m really excited with the new deal and can’t wait to get started with the season. I’m really grateful to all the staff and players for all the love and support they’ve shown me coming into the club this past year. I feel like we have a really good foundation built by Karen and the coaching staff from last year to really push for promotion this year as a team!”
Head Coach Karen Hills also shared her delight, adding: "Jess is a fantastic, young individual who has huge potential between the sticks. She excelled last season and has shown her true desire to make the step up to full-time football.
"I am proud to offer Jess her first full-time contract to keep her with Charlton for the next two seasons. She's a huge asset to us and I’m looking forward to continuing to help Jess strive to reach new heights in her career."
