The club are delighted to confirm that Louise McGing has been appointed to the role of General Manager for Charlton Athletic Women.

McGing joins the club boasting a wealth of experience in both business management and football management.

The team's new general manager was a member and chairman of AFC Leyton, working for the London FA as an Ambassador for Female Football in addition to working in senior leadership in marketing.

McGing, who has held the position in an interim role for much of the summer, said: “I'm honoured to have been offered the opportunity to work with both Karen Hills and Riteesh Mishra and was excited to work again with Tom Cruse on the PGA [Professional Game Academy].

"I’ve been impressed with how high the bar has been set within the club and I look forward to engaging with the fans and club partners to continue to push forward.

"There has been a huge amount of work undertaken over pre-season, to grow the girl's academy, create the new PGA and also across the Women's Team but I know that the work begins now."
