Charlton Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of Mary McAteer on a two-year deal.
The forward joins the Addicks after spending the last two seasons at Sunderland, where she made 38 appearances and scored seven goals for the North East side.
McAteer arrives fresh from a historic summer with Wales, having helped her country qualify for their first-ever major tournament at the UEFA Women’s EUROs.
The 21-year-old began her career in Aston Villa’s academy before making the move to Coventry United for the 2022/23 season.
The Welsh international will add depth and creativity to Karen Hills’ front line ahead of the new campaign.
