Charlton return to Championship action this Sunday, April 16th as they welcome Durham to The Valley at the earlier KO time of 12pm.

Karen Hills' side will be keen to return to winning ways after recording a narrow 1-0 defeat to London City Lionesses before the international break, ending their six-game unbeaten run.

The Addicks currently sit fourth in the Barclays Women's Championship and a win over Durham could see them climb to third depending on results across the league.

THE OPPOSITION

The Wildcats head into Sunday's proceedings unbeaten in three, recording impressive wins against London City and Southampton.

In their last outing, Lee Sander's side earned a point against Blackburn Rovers in a 2-2 draw at Bamber Bridge thanks to a fifth-minute strike from Mollie Lambert and a stoppage-time goal from Lauren Briggs.

Durham currently sit seventh in the Championship standings, nine points below the Addicks, and a win for them could see them rise to sixth.

The last time these two sides locked horns Charlton left Maiden Castle with all three points in a 2-1 victory thanks to an Emily Simpkins penalty and a first-half goal from Melissa Johnson.

The Addicks also came head-to-head with Durham at The Valley in the 2021/22 season finale. Charlton came back from behind to earn a 2-1 win with Emma Follis and Katie Robinson adding their names to the scoresheet in the second half.
