Karen Hills’ Addicks will look to make it three wins on the bounce as they open their Continental Cup account away to Lewes this Sunday (KO 2 pm GMT).
Charlton will travel to the Dripping Pan off the back of a five-goal thriller against Sunderland last weekend. A stoppage-time header from Elisha N’Dow meant that the Addicks defeated the ten women Sunderland side at the Eppleton Colliery Welfare Ground.
Victory against Lewes will see the Addicks go to the top of Group D depending on the result between Bristol City and Charlton’s capital city rivals Crystal Palace who locks horns on Sunday.
The Addicks came out victorious in the previous meeting between the two sides, Elise Hughes tapped in from close range to make it 1-0 Charlton before the half-time interval.
