Chuks Aneke is set to make his first start of the season for the Addicks’ Emirates FA Cup second-round tie against Stockport County at The Valley.

Since returning from injury, the forward has made nine substitute appearances, scoring three goals.

The team news in full sees Ashley Maynard-Brewer line up in goal and he’ll be protected by a back four made up of Sean Clare, Ryan Inniss, Sam Lavelle and Steven Sessegnon.

George Dobson, Albie Morgan and Scott Fraser occupy the midfield engine room with Jes Rak-Sakyi and Charlie Kirk supporting Aneke in attack.

On the bench, there is a welcomed returned to the squad for Diallang Jaiyesimi, who is back after recovering from an ankle injury.

Jayden Stockley serves the first game of his three-match suspension today with Joe Wollacott, Craig MacGillivray, Terell Thomas, Eoghan O’Connell, Jake Forster-Caskey, Conor McGrandles, Mandela Egbo and Miles Leaburn all sidelined through injury.
