TEAM NEWS | Kane set for full debut

'

Todd Kane will make his full Charlton debut in the Addicks' home game against Barnsley today.

Kane, who joined the Addicks on Thursday, is one of three changes Dean Holden has made to the side that played at Manchester United in midweek. Jack Payne and Tyreece Campbell also come into the starting line-up as Sean Clare, Albie Morgan and Corey Blackett-Taylor move to the bench.

If the Addicks line up in the 4-3-3 formation used in recent weeks, it will mean Kane joins a back four alongside Ryan Inniss, Lucas Ness and Steven Sessegnon in front of goalkeeper Ashley Maynard-Brewer.

Payne joins skipper George Dobson and Scott Fraser in a midfield trio, behind a front three of Jes Rak-Sakyi, Miles Leaburn and Campbell.

Macauley Bonne, who also joined on Thursday, is on the substitutes bench alongside the aforementioned Clare, Morgan and Blackett-Taylor, as well as Nathan Harness, Eoghan O’Connell and Jayden Stockley.

Charlton: Maynard-Brewer; Kane, Inniss, Ness, Sessegnon; Dobson (c), Payne, Fraser; Rak-Sakyi, Leaburn, Campbell

Subs: Harness, O’Connell, Clare, Morgan, Blackett-Taylor, Bonne, Stockley
