Mandela Egbo will make his full debut after an impressive appearance from the bench last weekend against Fleetwood Town, while Steven Sessegnon returns to the bench after a spell on the sidelines with injury. Albie Morgan also comes in to the starting XI, as Ben Garner makes three changes to last week’s lineup.

If Charlton start today’s game in a 4-3-3, Egbo, Sam Lavelle, Eoghan O’Connell and Sean Clare will make up the back four in front of MacGillivray.

Morgan joins George Dobson and Scott Fraser in midfield behind the front three of Jes Rak-Sakyi, skipper Jayden Stockley and Corey Blackett-Taylor.

Harness and Sessegnon are joined on the bench by Ryan Inniss, returning after a one-game suspension. Birthday-boy Conor McGrandles, Charlie Kirk, Jack Payne and last week’s super sub Miles Leaburn make up the rest of the squad.
