TEAMS NEWS | Blackett-Taylor returns to the starting XI

'

Corey Blackett-Taylor will return to the Charlton starting line-up for tonight’s game against Portsmouth (8pm KO BST).

The 25-year-old replaces the injured Miles Leaburn, who is set for a spell on the sidelines after picking up an ankle injury against Exeter City.

Supporters outside the UK can watch the game live on CharltonTV, while supporters in the UK will be able to watch the game on Sky Sports or listen to live audio commentary with a CharltonTV subscription.

If the Addicks start in a 4-4-2 formation it will likely mean Mandela Egbo, Ryan Inniss, Eoghan O’Connell and Steven Sessegnon line up in a back four in front of Joe Wollacott.

Jes Rak-Sakyi and Charlie Kirk may operate either side of midfield duo Scott Fraser and George Dobson, behind a potential front two of Blackett-Taylor and Jayden Stockley.

The flexibility of the Addicks' forward line means it could be Rak-Sakyi that partners Stockley up front or even Kirk playing just off the Charlton captain.

The bench, which was so impactful against Exeter, includes Craig MacGillivray, Sean Clare, Albie Morgan, Conor McGrandles, Jack Payne, super sub Chuks Aneke and academy graduate Tyreece Campbell.

Charlton: Wollacott; Egbo, Inniss, O’Connell, Sessegnon; Rak-Sakyi, Dobson, Fraser, Kirk; Stockley (c), Blackett-Taylor

Substitutes: MacGillvray, Clare, Morgan, McGrandles, Payne, Campbell, Aneke
