U18 REPORT | Charlton 2 Swansea City 1

'

Charlton’s U18s came from behind to claim a 2-1 win over Swansea City at Sparrows Lane on Saturday.

Ibrahim Fullah and Brook Myers were both on the scoresheet as the young Addicks recorded a third league win on the spin.

Callum Jones gave the Swans the perfect start, steering home Aimar Govea’s cross from close range after six minutes.

Charlton were back level just eight minutes later. Jadon Yamoah raced down the right flank and drove into the box before finding Fullah, who curled into the top-right corner from just inside the 18-yard box.

Chances came and went at both ends as the game wore on before Myers produced the decisive moment 11 minutes from time. The substitute was the quickest to react to a penalty-box scramble and coolly fired into the bottom-left corner.

The U18s are next in action on Saturday, February 3rd, travelling across London to take on QPR at the TSG Training Centre.

Charlton: Woodham; Okwumo, Cann (Hunter 65), Danso, Brown; Safa ©, Wales, Fullah (Myers 70); Yamoah, Sol-Loza, Reid (McMillan 77)

Subs (not used): Spencer, Ashburn
