Charlton's U18s continued their fine form with an emphatic 6-0 victory over Colchester United at Sparrows Lane on Saturday.
Raynon Richman, Ellis McMillan, Shia-Lee Burnham, Tate Elliott, Nehmani Burke and Michael Mylona were all on the scoresheet as Jason Pearce's side recorded a fifth win on the spin in style.
It took 19 minutes for the young Addicks to open the scoring through Richman, who broke away from his marker to convert Chetam Ezenwata's cross from close range.
McMillan doubled his side's advantage moments before half-time, coolly firing past Oscar Roberts.
Burnham added a third just three minutes after the restart, racing on to Dionte Davis' through ball and firing home at the near post.
Charlton had a fourth moments later as Elliott headed home McMillan's deep corner.
Substitute Burke bagged the young Addicks' fifth on 70 minutes, showing great strength to dispossess the U's defender before smashing an unstoppable left-footed effort beyond Roberts.
Mylona rounded off the scoring just two minutes later, driving into the 18-yard box well before firing into the bottom-left corner.
Pearce's in-form side are next in action on Saturday, October 18th when they travel to AFC Bournemouth (KO 12pm BST).
