U18 REPORT | Millwall 0 Charlton 4

'

Micah Mbick bagged a hat-trick as Charlton's U18s enjoyed derby day delight with a comprehensive 4-0 win over Millwall on Tuesday.

Patrick Casey was also on the scoresheet for the young Addicks, who scored all four of their goals during a ruthless first-half display.

Mbick gave Charlton the lead midway through the opening period, racing onto Alan Mwamba's through ball and finishing clinically.

Mwamba and Mbick combined to devastating effect again on 41 minutes as the latter tapped home the former's pinpoint cross from close range.

The prolific Mbick added the young Addicks' third just moments later, this time converting Ethan Brown's pull-back following an excellent, diagonal through ball from captain Keenan Gough.

There was still time for Casey to get in on the scoring act before the break. Superb work from Ibrahim Fullah saw the midfielder steal possession in the middle of the pitch before feeding Casey, who drove into the 18-yard box and finished past Albert Penney.

The emphatic result means Jason Pearce's side have completed the league double over their Millwall counterparts this season.

The U18s are next in action on Saturday, March 23rd, taking on Peterborough United at Sparrows Lane (KO 11am).
