U21 PREVIEW | Charlton v Watford

Charlton's U21s return to league action on Monday afternoon, hosting Watford at Sparrows Lane (1pm KO GMT).

Danny Senda's side came from behind to lead 2-1 at Colchester United last time out thanks to goals from Matt Dench and Daniel Kanu, only to be denied all three points at the death.

The Hornets are currently rooted to the foot of the Professional Development League 2 – South table, 10 points behind ninth-placed Queens Park Rangers having played the same number of games.

The reverse fixture came at the Orbital Fasteners Stadium in September 2022 and resulted in a 2-0 triumph for the young Addicks thanks to second-half goals from Kanu and Aaron Henry.
