U21 PREVIEW | Crewe Alexandra v Charlton

'

Charlton’s U21s will play their third away game in nine days on Saturday afternoon when they travel to Crewe Alexandra (KO 1pm BST).

Having won the London Senior Cup in late April, the young Addicks’ two games since have both ended in 4-2 defeats - the latter of which was a topsy-turvy affair at Ashton Gate, where Chris Lock’s side twice equalised through Patrick Casey and Ryan Huke, but eventually succumbed to Bristol City.

Casey will be looking to add to his tally of 40 goals this season, with fellow academy striker Micah Mbick currently sitting on 42.

Crewe lie at the bottom of the Professional Development League Two - North table, having lost 6-0 to Sheffield United on Monday.
