NEWS | Kevin Foley departs

George Jones reports

Kevin Foley has left the club after his contract came to an end earlier this week.

The former Republic of Ireland international initially joined Charlton on trial in the summer before signing a short-term deal in August.

He made 20 appearances for the Addicks in the first half of the campaign and the club can confirm that it has made the decision not to extend his contract, which concluded on Monday.

Manager Karl Robinson said: “Kevin has been a model professional since I came to the club. He has given his all in training every day and is a great role model for any young player that wants a long career in the game."

The club would like to thank Kevin and wish him all the best in his future career.
