TEAM NEWS | One change for Fleetwood Town clash

George Jones reports from The Valley

Karl Robinson has made one change to his starting XI for today’s match against Fleetwood Town at The Valley, with Ricky Holmes coming into the side.

The winger – making his first start since November – replaces the suspended Lewis Page and the Addicks are otherwise unchanged from last weekend’s impressive victory at Bolton Wanderers.

Declan Rudd starts in goal. He will be offered protection by a back four that consists of Chris Solly, Ezri Konsa, Patrick Bauer and Adam Chicksen.

The experienced Andrew Crofts will anchor the mdfield, with Jake Forster-Caskey and Joe Aribo operating ahead of him. Nathan Byrne and the returning Holmes are out wide and, up front, Tony Watt leads the line.

On the bench, there is a place for deadline day signing Stephy Mavididi, while Jordan Botaka is also available in reserve after returning from the Africa Cup of Nations.

Dillon Phillips is back from a foot injury and the rest of the bench is made up by Johnnie Jackson, Jay Dasilva, Lee Novak and Jorge Teixeira.
