VALLEY REVIEW | Forster-Caskey stars for Southend visit

Jake Forster-Caskey takes centre stage in Saturday’s matchday programme for the visit of Southend United.

The midfielder has enjoyed a fine start to the new season, bagging two goals and two assists from his first five games, and in his feature interview, he discusses the confidence in the camp, his aim to score more goals and his partnership with fellow middle man Ahmed Kashi.

Forster-Caskey also features as the pull-out poster, while Karl Robinson pens his latest Manager’s Notes as he reflects on an encouraging start to 2017/18.

Meanwhile, Keith Peacock writes a special column looking ahead to next weekend’s Legends United charity match at The Valley which will see more than 30 former Addicks return to SE7 to celebrate the 25-year anniversary of the club’s return home.

Elsewhere within the pages of Valley Review, the countdown of the best Valley moments over the last 25 years continues with a look back at Kevin Lisbie’s hat-trick against Liverpool in 2003, while Chris Powell is profiled as the latest Valley Hero.

All the latest academy action is rounded up including a report from the U18s’ incredible 5-5 draw with Sheffield Wednesday last weekend and there’s a look at the Women’s team’s 11-0 victory over Swindon Town.
