KENT SENIOR CUP PREVIEW | Welling United v Charlton (7.45pm)

Charlton begin their Kent Senior Cup campaign tonight when they make the short trip to near-neighbours Welling United (7.45pm).

The Addicks were knocked out of the competition by the Wings at the semi-final stage last season and Jason Euell’s squad will be eyeing revenge in Wednesday evening’s second-round clash.

As has been the case for many years, Charlton faced Welling in pre-season in July and picked up a 3-0 victory. Jason Pearce, Patrick Bauer and Mikhail Kennedy found the net in that game and supporters can watch the goals on Valley Pass by clicking here.

Charlton last lifted the Kent Senior Cup – which was first contested in 1889 – in 2015 and tickets for tonight’s clash are priced at £10 adults, £5 over 65s and those aged 12-17, while U12s go free.

Meanwhile, the first of Charlton’s Premier League Cup matches has been confirmed, with Euell’s development squad hosting Liverpool at The Valley on Friday, September 29th (7pm).

The Addicks have also been drawn against Stoke City and Bristol City, who they will play both home and away in Group G, with dates for each fixture to be confirmed in due course.

The club will be providing full coverage of tonight’s tie across its social media channels and website. Minute-by-minute updates will be available to follow on our Twitter account @CAFCofficial, while behind the scenes content will also be available to view on Facebook and Instagram.

Highlights from the match will be also be available to view later in the week on Valley Pass, the club’s home of video.
