Charlton and Sunderland will cut the ribbon on the new Sky Bet League One season on Saturday lunch time when they go head-to-head at the Stadium of Light.
The match kicks off at the earlier time of 12.30pm and is being shown live on Sky Sports’ dedicated football channel Sky Sports Football (sky channel 403).
Sky Sports Football’s programme gets underway from midday and supporters will be able to hear from caretaker boss Lee Bowyer and a member of the Addicks squad before kick-off.
Tickets for the match will be on sale to Charlton fans from the Stadium of Light. Fans who cannot attend or watch the match on Sky will be able to tune into live audio commentary on Valley Pass.
A seasonal Valley Pass subscription is priced at just £60 for 2018/19 and Valley Pass is the only place that provides live audio commentary of all Charlton first-team matches.
Month-by-month subscriptions are also available at £6.50 per month and 48-hour matchday passes are priced at £4. As well as live commentary, Valley Pass subscribers can also enjoy:
- Access to the unrivalled Charlton archive, which boasts highlights of every first-team match from the last 30 years
- Exclusive features, such as in-depth Valley Stories interviews with Charlton legends
- Behind-the-scenes content, including a weekly feature from the training ground
- Coverage of the club’s U23s, U18s and women’s teams
