TEAM NEWS | Bauer, Bielik and Taylor return for today's game against Rochdale

Lyle Taylor, Krystian Bielik and Patrick Bauer have returned to the Charlton starting XI today after missing out against Gillingham through injury.

There are also places for Albie Morgan and Josh Parker as Charlton boss Lee Bowyer makes five changes from the side that cruised to victory at Priestfield Stadium last week.

George Lapslie, Darren Pratley and Jason Pearce move to the bench, while Jonny Williams and Igor Vetokele miss the game with injury.

After playing a rather unique 3-2-4-1 with a diamond midfield last week, it looks likely Bowyer will return to his preferred 4-4-2 diamond formation this week.

Off the back of six clean sheets in his last eight games Dillon Phillips retains the starting goalkeeper berth. The back four is likely to be made up of Anfernee Dijksteel, Bauer, Naby Sarr, Ben Purrington. Bielik is expected to hold in midfield with Josh Cullen and Morgan ahead of him, while Joe Aribo is likely to fill the number 10 role behind Taylor and Parker.

Chris Maxwell, Lewis Page, Ben Reeves and Mark Marshall will join Lapslie, Pratley and Pearce on the bench.
