Heading to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday? Here's everything you need to know about an away day at The Hawthorns...
The travelling Addicks will be housed on one side of the Smethwick End behind the goal. The view of the action and the facilities are pretty good, but the leg room can be somewhat cramped and the concourse can be very crowded, particularly with a sold-out following.
The usual is available inside the ground including a variety of pies, pasties and hot dogs. Food is also available outside at the club’s Fan Zone, while a Greggs can be found nearby and there is also a McDonald’s on Birmingham Way.
The Fan Zone outside the ground welcomes away fans and has alcohol available with the bar closing 30 minutes before kick-off. The designated away pub is the Vine, which is a 15-20-minute walk away from the ground.
Postcode is B71 4LF. There is street parking in the areas close to the ground. Alternatively, some of the local industrial units offer parking for around £5, while supporters can book a parking space at Sandwell Academy School, situated opposite the stadium, via YourParkingSpace.co.uk for £4.95. The Hawthorns has its own railway and metro tram station five minutes from the ground which are served by trains from Birmingham New Street. Trains take around 25 minutes, while the tram takes 13 minutes.
Regular trains to Birmingham New Street run from London Euston with the journey time less than an hour and a half.
1,994 Addicks have SOLD OUT the away end at The Hawthorns, with no further tickets available.
