His Excellency Tahnoon Nimer visited The Valley today for the first time since becoming Charlton Athletic’s majority shareholder.
After meeting staff at the stadium His Excellency made his way to the club’s Sparrows Lane training ground to meet the Charlton playing staff and manager Lee Bowyer.
His Excellency is set to attend his first Addicks’ game when Charlton host Barnsley tomorrow.
He said: “To visit The Valley for the first time was very special. To see it empty is one thing but to be able to come back tomorrow with thousands of people will be incredible.
“Hopefully, I’ll be able to meet as many fans as possible and thank them for the wonderful welcome we’ve received.”
