YOUNG FAN OF THE WEEK | Alfie and Harvey Walters

Alfie and Harvey Walters became the latest winners of Charlton's Young Fan Of The Week award before our fixture against Barnsley on Saturday.

The accolade - which is awarded at every weekend home game - rewards junior Addicks fans for showing great support for the team.

We asked the twins some questions about their favourite team...

Why I became a Charlton fan… Through family. My Grandad and Dad used to live opposite the ground, and I wouldn’t see them supporting any other club.

My first game at The Valley was… Charlton vs Carlisle on the 5th April 2010, the scoreline was 1-0 to us. Sodje scored.

My first away day with Charlton was… Our first away day was vs Birmingham in 2012, it was 1-1. We went there with our Dad and two Grandads.

My favourite Charlton game is… As much as Wembley was one of the best matches we’ve ever witnessed, the Play-Off Semi Final vs Doncaster had all the emotions. The penalty shootout was one of the most intense things we’ve ever seen- the pitch invasion topped it all off, really.

My favourite Charlton player is… The best player has to be Williams, he changes the dynamics of the game when he comes on.

My favourite Charlton kit is… The blue Charlton away kit from 2010-11, and this years away kit.

The best part of being a Charlton fan is… Is the mixed emotions and the start of a new era!

The Charlton player of the season will be… It’s probably going to be Pratley, the most underrated player on the pitch.

The game I am most looking forward to is… Leeds Away, it could potentially decide our season.

If Charlton could sign any player in the world who would it be? Josh Cullen on a permanent. That would be amazing!
