Patrick Bauer’s signed play-off final shirt donated to Charlton Museum

The club’s matchday announcer, Brian Cole, has donated Patrick Bauer’s signed play-off final shirt to the club’s museum.

Bauer etched his name in Charlton history after firing the Addicks into the Championship with his last-gasp winner at Wembley in May 2019, and subsequently gifted his match-worn shirt to the Jack Jeffreys Superhero Trust as a raffle prize, raising over £12,000 for the charity before being won by lifelong Addick Brian.

The club’s matchday announcer immediately contacted the Charlton Athletic museum to ensure the German defender’s shirt goes on permanent display on the club museum’s walls in SE7 for all Addicks fans to enjoy.

Brian has requested anyone viewing the shirt to not only relive Bauer’s historic strike, but also to remember the Jack Jeffreys Superhero Trust and consider generously donating to what is a remarkable charity.

The charity, created in memory of Charlton supporter Jack who sadly passed away in 2018 after a brave battle with Neuroblastoma, raises funds to support children with cancer and other life threatening/limiting illnesses by way of different projects, both in and out of hospital.
