U23 PREVIEW | Charlton v Colchester United

Anthony Hayes' U23s return to action on Monday afternoon as they host Colchester United at Dartford's Princes Park (2pm).

It's the young Addicks' first league outing since the 2-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday on September 17th which saw Jacob Roddy and Hady Ghandour find the net.

That was followed up by a 3-2 defeat in the London Senior Cup at Erith & Belvedere on September 22nd and Hayes will be eyeing a return to winning ways against the U's on Monday afternoon.

Colchester sit in fourth position in Professional Development League 2 - South, with two wins, a draw and a defeat from their four games, while the Addicks lie in fifth with two wins and two defeats.

Supporters are welcome to attend all of the Addicks' development squad matches at Princes Park. Entrance is free for Valley Gold members and season-tickets holders, or £3 adults and £1 juniors on the door.
