Information on the club's remembrance activity

As part of the club’s annual remembrance, a minute’s silence will take place ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup tie with Havant & Waterlooville at The Valley.

The club’s players will wear black armbands with poppies on them for our away game against Burton Albion on Saturday, November 13th, when the home side have their annual remembrance game.

The club’s annual Armed Forces Day will take place on Saturday, November 20th, when the Addicks host Plymouth Argyle in League One. 

As part of the Plymouth matchday, the club’s players will wear poppies on their shirts, there will be military in attendance, including current serving and veterans from the Armed Forces Addicks supporters group. Other activity on the Armed Forces includes a small ceremony outside the ground at 2pm and an on-pitch, pre-match ceremony, including the laying of a wreath and two bugles to play Reveille and The Last Post.
