WOMEN’S PREVIEW | Sheffield United v Charlton Athletic

Charlton Athletic Women return to FA Women’s Championship action on Sunday afternoon (2pm) as Karen Hills’ side travel to Sheffield United.

Having recorded three straight wins earlier in the campaign, the Blades have now gone three league games in a row without tasting victory – losing two and drawing one – to leave them sat seventh in the table ahead of Sunday’s clash with the Addicks.

Charlton currently sit fourth in the league, a win on Sunday could see the Addicks rise to third, just two points away from top of the table Durham and one point off second-placed Liverpool.

A win for Sheffield United could see them leapfrog the Addicks and into third, depending on other results.

Supporters can follow all the build-up to the game on Charlton Women’s official Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts.
